“Family, Faith, Education, and Football … in that order”

Mr. Tirico – the man, the myth, the legend. After being the head coach of football for 33 years at Lodi High School, Lodi’s dearly beloved Coach Tirico will be passing on the job to Coach Maggio this fall. Mr. Tirico is known for his compassion, his kindness, and his dedication. He truly is a great representation of what it means to be a Lodi Ram. Through his many years here at LHS he has given so much to help others grow and persevere. He tells his athletes that it’s okay to fall because everyone makes mistakes but the most important thing in life is getting back up. Another lesson he teaches is the importance of knowing the difference between right and wrong. There is a long list of people who have had the privilege of knowing and learning from Coach Tirico and they wanted to share their love and appreciation.
