LHS Celebrates Earth Day!

Earth Day traces all the way back to April 22, 1970, when the first environmental movement began. Now it is an annual event that brings awareness to the condition of the Earth. It also celebrates the bountiful planet and the astounding creatures on it. Many people observe this day by having worldwide rallies, outdoor activities, and service projects. On April 27, LHS celebrated earth day! Students and staff members promoted the important environmental issues and committed themselves to help make LHS a better place. They wore t-shirts to get in the spirit and worked on the greenhouse by planting various different plants. All in all, planet Earth is magnificent so we should try our best to keep it a beautiful place!
