In this edition of Diversified, Taylor Hoshafi and Lara Kurdi are going to the kitchen to whip up some delicious meals that pertain to their cultural background. Around the world, food is an important part of the culture. Traditional cuisine is passed down from one generation to the next. It also operates as an expression of cultural identity. People bring the food of their countries with them wherever they go and cooking traditional food is a way of preserving their culture when they move to new places.
