Q: What is something in your daily routine that you can’t ever skip?
A: Listening to music. I wake up and listen to music in the shower, while doing my hair, and while doing my makeup. Listening to music always calms me, regardless of how my night was or how many projects/essays I have to look forward to for the day.
Q: What do you look forward to after graduating LHS?
A: I look forward to college. I feel like the sense of maturity, getting new friends, a new environment, and a new set of responsibilities are something I am eager to explore and am very excited for.
Q: If there was somewhere in the world you could be right now, where would it be?
A: Maldives. Not only is the water beautiful, but I think I definitely deserve a vacation right now even though it’s the middle of fall. I feel like if I was there right now, I’d be at ease with problems lifted off my chest.
Q: What is some high school advice you would like to give to younger children?
A: My high school advice to younger children would be that even when you feel like things aren’t possible, just strive for better and try to overcome them. Many people come into high school and try to plan out what they are going to do in life and in high school. Unfortunately, those goals aren’t always achieved and when you see yourself slipping off do not be scared to ask for help. Most of the time, if you talk to somebody about your problems or try to branch out to get some advice, it won’t be such a difficult task.
