Dance Competition
The Lodi High School Dance Club performed in their first dance competition this past Sunday. The Rampage caught up with Captain Samantha Perez’s to discuss the competition: “Lodi High School was the only HS dance team at the event. We competed against dance studios who get the chance to practice everyday with professional choreographers. As to where our routine was only student choreographed. Everyone who participated did receive a trophy or medal. But for scoring, High Platinum was the highest, High Gold, then Silver as the lowest. We got High Gold which wasn’t bad under the circumstances and for our first year. For next year, we hope to have more competitive/passionate dancers and compete at more events.” Congratulations to the Dance Club and good luck in future competitions!
