Make it Orange and make it end!

“Together against bullying- united for kindness, acceptance and inclusion.”

Every year in the month of October, there’s a certain day called National Unity Day. Unity Day is a day when people of all ages wear orange to stand up against bullying. Unity Day was started by PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center as a signature event of National Bullying Prevention Month. This year, Unity Day fell on Oct. 21 and for just one dollar Lodi High school students and teachers were allowed to wear orange to support the fight against bullying! All the money that students and teachers paid was donated to the Volunteer Center of Bergen County, where a program called “It Ends Today” works to put a stop to bullying. Remember, you are not alone! Go orange and stand up to bullying!
