The Taste and Variety of Sound: Jazz Music Concert
On Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019, students got to sit back, relax, and listen to the sweet sounds of jazz. Organized by Dr. Macri, Pat Longo’s Jazz band came to Lodi High School and performed for all of the students involved in the Arts at Lodi High School. These students, in particular the Band and Jazz Ensemble, were able to get a taste of life as a professional performer. Longo is originally from Lodi and has played with various celebrities such as Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennet. It was a pleasure to have him and his band come to Lodi High School to perform!
