Grand Honors’ Band Performance
On March 2, 2018, the Lodi High School Honors Band performed their annual Recital for everyone to hear. This group includes some of the smartest musicians in the school. These very involved students, who display leadership in the band room, assembled a beautiful performance for which they have spent all year preparing. In order to be accepted into the honors program you must display qualities of leadership and high participation during band class. Once accepted, each ensemble has a scheduled practice once a week all together, where these students practice as a unit. In this recital, seniors, Sarah Santana and Steven Malki offered solo pieces to add some diversity. This year includes many of the classics you may even recognize and bop your head to.
