NHS Induction Ceremony
In a ceremony filled with candles, music, speeches, and certificates, Lodi High School inducted 25 well-rounded juniors and seniors on Tuesday, March 21, into the National Honor Society. Jonah Balagtas, on upright base, and Carina Lamas, on the piano, performed “Autumn Leaves” by Joseph Kosma. After their wonderful performance, President Leyla Durmus, Vice President Hasmin Llamoca, Recording Secretary Daniela Cavallaro, Corresponding Secretary Lillian Maltese, and Treasurer Kimberly Coronel gave their heartwarming speeches on each of the four pillars: Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character. The guest speaker for this ceremony was a former NHS president, Suril Dala, who gave an eye-opening speech on what the future holds for graduating seniors, and soon to be graduating juniors. The Rampage congratulates all the new inductees on this amazing achievement!
