On Friday, Dec. 16, the Lodi Girl’s basketball team started their season off right with a victory. With a score of 48-28, the girls defeated Mary Help of Christians. Senior, Lila Reginald dominated the court with a total of 14 points and 7 rebounds. Sophomore, Aliyah Williams successfully scored 13 points and had one rebound. Sophomore, Mary Breny was successful as well, scoring a total of eight points with 12 rebounds. Senior, Jasmine Castro, who also contributed to putting five points on the score board, shared her feelings about the upcoming season: “With a strong start, follows a successful season and I’m more than excited to see what’s in store for us this year.” Overall, the Lodi girls basketball team had an awesome first game and there’s no doubt that there will be more victories to come this season.
