The Boys and Girls Club of Lodi held a special event for the opening of the new Teen Center. On April 2, they opened up the new hang out which is located on the second floor of the building. The new Teen Center has flat screens, red couches, silver tables, diner booths, and a snack bar. The whole opening was extremely celebrated with tons of people, music, and food. The Teen Center is a place for teens of all ages, nationalities, and house incomes to finally have a place to have fun and build new relationships. This new addition has a lot to offer such as yoga and zumba classes, talent shows, and beat boxing. It’s an escape for teens to ensure that they have a place to go instead of hanging out on the streets. This could not have been done without the help of Mr. Masopust, the Snowflake Foundation, and the Keystone Club. The event was a huge hit throughout the community and will definitely make an incredible impact on our youth!
