With the new school year starting, we decided to interview the new advisor and the new officers of the 2023-2024 student government as a way to learn more about them.
What is student government? The student government is a club that supports the funding for LHS and the activities that go on here. This also allows the President, Natasha Vargas, and her officers to be in tune with the whole student body.
What do they do? The student government supports the funding for the school usually through fundraisers and other events like homecoming and RamWars. Overall, the goal of the student government is to better the school’s environment and community making sure everyone has the best high school experience.
