Unorganized Cooking: Pepperjack Nachos Grande
Hello and welcome to the cooking series that nobody asked for. Without even realizing it, this recipe was made on Cinco de Mayo, so I guess walking out in a rainy pilgrimage to ShopRite and Aldi were worth a broken umbrella.
Ingredients:
- Nachos
- Tomato
- Jalapeno (I wish someone would tell me how to apply N tilde here)
- Pepperjack Cheese (or not, but has to be shredded)
- Onion
- Cilantro
- Lime
Cooking Time: Less than 10 min.
Instruction:
- Dice the tomato, onion, and jalapeno. Careful with the jalapeno or your hands will burn and don’t remove the pulp from the tomato. Why does the tomato look like a squid?
- Chop the cilantro into fine pieces
- Throw this all in a small bowl and squeeze it with lime juice. Stir it until it’s evenly established
- In a larger bowl, fill it with nachos and apply the pepperjack cheese (or whatever cheese you’re using)
- Microwave for 1 min.
- Done. This doesn’t taste as sad as it looks. It actually tastes wonderful.
