Jingle All the Way with the Winter Concert
On Dec. 3, Lodi High School orchestrated its annual winter concert. This year’s line up consisted of all facets of the music department: Choir, Madrigals Choir, Concert Band, and Jazz band. The choirs were led by vocal director, Mr. McCann, and the bands were led by band director, Mr. Porter. The turnout, for starters, was particularly amazing as almost every seat was filled before the recital even began. The crowd was in for quite a night of talent, with an impressive rendition of “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” by Madrigals, “Frosty the Snowman” by the Jazz Band, and many more. The support and response from the crowd was fantastic, and the array of talent provided by the music department allowed for yet another memorable concert. As a conclusion to the night, Danielle Gould and Brianna Rojao gave heartwarming thank you speeches to McCann, commending him for his musical efforts. Overall, the concert was an incredible success and a great introduction to the holiday season.
