Color Outside the Lines: The Color Run
On Sunday, May 5, Lodi High School hosted their second annual Color Run, led by the senior student council and Mr. Romeo. The Color Run was a 5k course that was supposed to start and end at Thomas Jefferson Middle School; however, due to weather conditions, the event took place at Lodi High School instead. Breakfast and refreshments were available for everyone to enjoy, as well as music that had people up and dancing. Even though it rained for the entirety of the event, the participants still had fun dousing themselves with a rainbow of powder and liquid colors. While the event was student-organized and took place at the high school, many teachers, families, and students from other schools participated. The event ended with one final color celebration in the high school parking lot. The student council accomplished their fundraising goal, while bringing many communities together by having fun, and making great memories even through the rain!
