Loud and Proud: Lodi Cheerleading

Cheerleading is a sport that starts in August and ends at the end of February, which is longer than most sports seasons last. In those six months, a team changes and grows, as they spend so much time together. LHSVC has had a season of firsts and lasts, from the start of football to the end of competition.

The final football game of the season marked the end of Coach Palasti’s coaching career of over ten years. At the start of competition season, they were led by their new head coach, Mrs. Scimeca, and assistant coach, Ms. Sargenti. In preparation for the upcoming season, the Rams began to work harder than ever before. They started with a win at their first competition. From there, the team continued to let their passion drive them to improve their skills and expand on their talent. LHSVC ended their season with another win at the Paramus Catholic High School Competition.

A strong team is nothing without the support of one another, and if nothing else, this season, LHSVC grew to be very close, bonding with each other on and off the mat. On behalf of the Rampage we would like to congratulate the team on all that they have accomplished this year and extend a special congratulations to the seniors on their final season. We can’t wait to see what you have in store for us next year!
