Fight! Girls! Fight! Lodi Girl’s Soccer Getting Stronger!
Sept. 23,2014- After a tough loss to Hawthorne, Lodi’s girl soccer team knew it was time to bounce back and get a win against Manchester. Lodi beat the Falcons 3-1 with goals from Michelle Wilson, Jayleen Perez and Sukhi Kaur. Lodi’s record is now 3-4 and they are doing everything they can to be successful and win games. When asked about the difference between this year’s team and last year’s team, Liliann Vizcaino said, “We lost a lot of assets to our team like Lina and Nani. We have 11 seniors out of 14 players.” Lodi has three important players that are injured (Michelle Wilson, Kayla Oakley and Ariela Nunez) and they’re just looking for ways to strengthen their team. Lodi will be looking to bring their record to .500 as they take on Pompton Lakes Friday.
