Ms. Lewis
One of the newest members in the guidance office is Ms. Lewis. She grew up in Westwood and attended Westwood High School. During her senior year, her guidance counselor was the one to inspired her to pursue a career as a guidance counselor. Ms. Lewis knew that she wanted the opportunity to change and impact student’s lives. Through her high school years, she enjoyed filming and recording the stats for baseball. Ms. Lewis also spent her time volunteering on her free time. She was well rounded and became very involved in interact club, yearbook, and NHS. After graduating high school, she began her steps to becoming a guidance counselor at Monmouth University. She plans on continuing at LHS. Ms. Lewis likes how the staff is friendly and how they make her feel comfortable. Ms. Lewis ended our interview with a quote, “If I could make a difference in one of person’s life I have done my job.”
Q: What are your expectations for senior year?
A: I want to have a good time and to look back on it as a good memory.
