Another memorable win was Record of the Year, which was awarded to Kendrick Lamar and SZA for their hit song “Luther,” setting Lamar’s ongoing preeminence at the Grammys. Along with this, Kendrick won Best Rap Album for GNX as well as other awards with this ceremony officially crowning him the most awarded rapper in Grammy history.
Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas were given the award Song of the Year for “Wildflower,” allowing Billie to gain her third win in that spot. This placed her as an influential figure, setting her ground as a significant singer and songwriter for her time.
