For one day a year, the fast-food chain White Castle transforms into a candlelit restaurant where couples can go to enjoy a romantic dinner.  The restaurant decorates with tablecloths, centerpieces, balloons, and other Valentine-inspired decorations.  The event is so popular that reservations are mandatory.  White Castle provides a special Valentine’s Day menu which contains macaroni and cheese, shrimp, and chicken wings.  Numerous locations across the nation even offer wedding ceremonies and receptions.  White Castle Vice President, Jamie Richardson, was quoted saying, “We know that some people might prefer fancier spots, but some will appreciate the humor. We are not afraid to have a little fun at our own expense.”  Spending Valentine’s Day at White Castle might be the last idea a couple may have, but apparently it is extremely popular among people nationwide.  So, make your Valentine blush by taking him or her to the nearest White Castle to enjoy a unique and romantic Valentine’s Day dinner!
