It was a short week for Lodi basketball as both teams (Girls and Boys) only played one game each.

The Boys lost to Cliffside Park 50-47 on Wednesday (Jan. 28th) to bring their record to 4-7. Their next game is Tuesday (Feb. 3) 4 PM at home against Garfield.

The Girls won their 10th game of the season, Thursday (Jan. 29), on the road against Eastern Christian 51-37. With a 10-3 record, junior player, Lili Vizcaino, shared her thoughts on the season. “I was very excited about putting our winning record into double digits and I’m really looking forward to earning a decent spot or even a home game in the state tournament.”

With each squad entering the last month of the season, time is of the essence as they’ll try to earn as many wins as possible.
