Serving Up Questions with the Volleyball Team
Spring has sprung and with that the first volleyball practices have started up and the athletes are ready to go. With COVID affecting their normal season, the season was moved to the Spring, and athletes are now playing a shortened season. However, the team is glad that they are able to play this year and enjoy the sport they love. The volleyball team has already kicked off their season with their first game against Garfield, and they took it all the way to the third set only to fall short and lose the game. However, the team bounced back from their loss and both the junior varsity and the varsity squads came home with a win against Elmwood Park of Friday, March 26. In this edition, we reached out to some of the players and the coach to see what attracted them to the sport and what are some of the good and less favorable things about it. We wish the volleyball team and all other sports the best of luck in their seasons.
Q: What do you want to do when you graduate?
A: When I graduate, I’m hoping that I can start working towards being a doctor.
