French Toast to the French Club
The French Club met for a final time on May 23, 2019 to celebrate the efforts of all of its members. All year round, the French Club has been dedicated to spreading the culture of France beyond the classroom. Ms. Kyle and the advisers of the French Club put together a small festival and celebration for those who have participated in the French Club. During this time they also held a small award ceremony for those who took part in the French poetry recital. Throughout the room, there were people smiling from cheek to cheek enjoying the food and music. A surprise donation of French books came in the from the French Embassy, and many students found themselves exploring all of the different choices. From delicious crêpes to heartfelt speeches, this year’s festival and French Club was definitely a success!
