On Friday, Jan. 19, the wrestling team had their annual Senior Night at 7:00 pm. They played against Paterson Kennedy. Seniors Samantha Guerra, Benjamin Triana, Matt Wood, Derek Hrabovsky, Daniel Scarcella, Daniel Adams, Hans Cornejo, and Richard Tirado all competed in their last home match. They got their last home victory, 60 – 18. Their overall record is 11-6 so far. In an interview with the Rampage, Benjamin Triana stated, “If I had the choice to be on any other team in our division, I’ll always pick these Lodi studs; they’re my family.” One of Coach Fava’s goals in the beginning of the season was to make this team a family. Based on Triana’s words, that goal was achieved. They have three matches left in the season and we wish them best of luck!
