Still Fighting for a Chance
Lodi’s Boys Varsity Soccer team had an exciting game on Tuesday against their cross town rivals, the Garfield Boilermakers. Lodi may have lost the game 2-1, but they know they are capable of competing. Alexis Gonzalez was responsible for the Rams only goal. The Rams are now 4-6-3 and are fighting for a chance to get into the playoffs. Andres Villanueva and Andy Vega are trying everything they can to lead their team. “Its getting harder to get into the playoffs. Our record doesnt prove our true talent. We are capable of much more,” said Villanueva. The Rams are trying to pull in another win against the Elmwood Park Crusaders this Thursday.
