Perfect Way to End a Season

On Saturday Feb. 21 the Lodi High School once again won grand champions and first place at the Montclair and Clifton Competition. The girls won overall champions and beat 22 teams. Before going on the mat, the girls dedicated their performances to the seniors. They went on the mat with confidence and purpose, which captured the crowds attention. The girls were excited for their win, especially after their coaches told them they had hit a perfect routine. They finished off their season with winning four first places and two grand champions.  Throughout the season, Lodi was the team to watch out for. They had so much talent and passion, which, ultimately, made the season successful.  The seniors competed in their last high school competition and were happy to have a perfect end to the season.  According to Morgan Guarino, “This team has brightened my day at every practice.  Even on our bad days, they still managed to make me laugh.  Having a team like this made this a season to remember.  Winning with this team is something I wouldn’t change for the world.”
