The Queen and Her Court: Homecoming ’21
On Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021, Lodi High School’s annual Homecoming Football game and ceremony took place. The football team went against Waldwick/Midland Park. During halftime, the Homecoming Queen and her court was escorted out onto the field. The court was introduced: third runner up, Abigail Rojas, second runner up, Jenna Haskoor and first runner up, Melissa Hartofilis. Destiney Ndio was announced as the Homecoming Queen and crowned by Vice Principal, Mr. O’ Brien. Along with this ceremony, the Marching Rams entertained the crowd with their performance. After this ceremony, the game continued. Even though the Rams lost, they put up a great fight. Due to Covid restrictions there wasn’t a Homecoming King crowned or a big Homecoming dance to follow, but the school spirit was still at a much needed high. Congratulations to the Homecoming Queen and her Court for representing Lodi High School!
