In it for the Long Haul
May 8, 2016
The Lodi Rampage welcomes Mr. Long as a new member of Lodi High School. Mr. Long assists our vice principal, Mrs. Yzquierdo, with attendance, and making sure the kids are supposed to be in the right place. We interviewed Mr. Long, so everyone could get a chance to know him better.
What were you doing before you came to LHS?
“I was employed as a Lieutenant in the New Jersey State Police in charge of the Criminal Investigation Unit.”
How was your transition to LHS like?
“My transition was very smooth due to the help and support of Mr. D’Amico, Mrs. Y, Mrs. Riley, and the rest of the staff alongside the student body.”
What do you like most about LHS?
“I am impressed by how Lodi High School is extremely family oriented. The staff and student body work well together.”
What do you like to do in your free time?
“I enjoy reading and watching movies. My favorite book is “The Lone Survivor” by Marcus Luttrell, and my favorite movie is “A Bronx Tale.” I also like catching up on my favorite show, which is “Blue Bloods.”
Do you have anything else to say to LHS at this time?
Just a simple quote. “One should strive to beat their yesterday’s best.”
We would like to thank Mr. Long for taking the time to speak to us and appreciate his contribution to our community.
