See What Happens After Class!

If you read our previous article about the clubs that LHS has to offer, the activity fair that occurred on Oct. 12 worked to bring them to life! From clubs like the Drama Club to FBLA, everyone’s tables were vibrant with colors representing their club colors. Students were welcomed to walk around during their lunch periods to explore the clubs and sign up, too! Some clubs that were showcased included:

• Drama Club
• Debate Society
• Mock Trial
• Interact Club
• Key Club
• Math Team
• Rocket Club
• The Listening Room
• Student Council
• Diverse Cultures Club
• Chess Club
• Respect Crew
• Poetry Club

This wonderful event wouldn’t have been possible if it wasn’t for our guidance intern, Ms. Lonsdale, and our very own LHS president, Carolina Arango. Big thanks to them for putting on something unforgettable for the student body! The representatives of the clubs also thank the students for signing up, and they hope to see you at the upcoming meetings. This fair may not have had a Ferris wheel and zeppoles, but it sure did put a smile on the faces of our students and faculty!
