At 3-8, and with only three games left in the season, some would say the Lodi Girls Tennis team has nothing to play for. That’s not what senior captain Caroline Romero thinks. She was interviewed about her role on the court and voiced her thoughts on the team and herself. “Being a senior captain this year is more difficult than any of my other years playing tennis. There’s more responsibility and I’m accountable for everyone on the court. My role is to make sure everyone is putting 100% into every practice and match.” It’s a tough situation to be in for the team, but when Caroline was asked about her expectations for the rest of the season, she remained positive, “There’s 3 games left, and I expect every one of us to finish strong.”
