Spread Love, it’s the Green Tech Way

Not only are students innovative within the classroom, but outside of the classroom also. The Green Tech Club offers a way for students to apply themselves by making new gadgets that can be used in the real world. With Valentine’s day around the corner, the Green Tech Club was assigned to make a heart transplant robot from scratch. Of course, with all new tasks, it seems difficult at first; however, with the dedicated seniors, Nilya Rhoomes, Nicole Asprilla, and Lorik Hajra and the innovative underclassmen, they were able to put their heads together in order to build an actual working heart transplant robot. They, successfully, presented their project in the competition, but, unfortunately, did not place. In the video above Mr. Skibitski explains what hardships and late nights his club underwent in order to attend the latest competition at NJIT.
