On Wednesday, June 12, Lodi High School hosted its annual award ceremony, welcoming generous scholarship providers and a select group of seniors. In order to qualify, these seniors applied to different scholarships by either writing an essay, filling out an application, or simply being chosen by a teacher. This year, approximately $40,000 in local scholarships were awarded to this group of seniors. For the selected seniors, these donations will help to reduce the cost for college or even pay for books and other necessary items. LHS and all of the seniors participating in the ceremony would like to thank the providers for all they have contributed.
