Dunking Through the New Season

On Tuesday, Dec. 20, the boys varsity basketball team beat Pompton Lakes 58-39. With only one starter, Charlie Battice, the boys  worked together to finish with a big win. Charlie Battice finished with 15 points along with Chris Rivas who had 14 points. Sophomore Justin Soto also had an outbreak game and impressed all. Despite him only being a sophomore Coach Kyle feels he is one of the hardest working players on the team. In an interview with Coach Kyle he shared his thoughts about the game and the season: “The coaching staff and I are very optimistic about the 2016-2017 season. He also feels they have a lot of potential to win the league, and also have success in the jamboree.” This win led the boys to a 1-0 record to start the season.
